Residential Facility Monitor
PT Positions; Nights and On-Call (Nights & Weekends)

The Facility Monitor position is for our Fairweather Family Lodge Program; A residential facility for moms with mental illness and their children. Work location around 410 & Highway 90 area.
Current shifts available:
Sat & Sun (8:30am to 8:30am) $8/hr or
On-Call (Nights and Weekends) $10/hr

He/She will perform a variety of duties for this non-profit program. Here are some essential
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop effective, trusting relationships with mothers and their children.
• Provide crisis intervention, support, guidance and mediation services to residents.
• Generally support clients as they learn skills necessary to live in the community.
• Enforce rules consistently and fairly.
• Participate in the daily operations of the program.
• Assist in involving clients in daily activities – facilitating socialization, community and facility upkeep.
• Supervise/ monitor any social or training functions when taking place in facility.
• Oversee medications of mother and her children if directed by supervisor.
• Monitor facility, chores, curfew, cooking and visitors or unauthorized individuals on parameter, sign in/out log and security cameras.
• Documentation of clear, precise progress notes of your shift.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 yr exp in mental health/social services field
Ideal candidate must be comfortable working with women who have mental disabilities and their children. Committed to improving the quality of life through empowerment. Willingness to be flexible, patient and tolerant. Have developed skills in crisis intervention. Have strong written and oral communications skills, strong organization skills, able to work independently (a self-starter), great at multi-tasking, able to exhibit confidentiality, discretion and high maturity levels at all times.
